Yesterday, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau President Chris Hoffman commended both the state legislature for its bipartisan budget passage and the U.S. House of Representatives for advancing the Senate’s amendment to the continuing resolution needed to re-open the federal government.
“This has been a landmark day for Pennsylvania agriculture, delivering critical victories on both the state and federal stages. We are now energized to advocate for the timely implementation of the state budget’s investments and to regain momentum on other key legislative priorities. Concurrently, our federal efforts will refocus on securing economic aid and finalizing the remainder of the farm bill. On behalf of PFB, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone—from legislators to grassroots advocates—whose tireless efforts secured these achievements.”
