Pennsylvania Farm Bureau President Chris Hoffman commented today on the House of Representative’s passage of the Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2026.

“Pennsylvania Farm Bureau would like to thank U.S. House Committee on Agriculture chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson and the congressional offices that have worked tirelessly to get this vital piece of legislation across the finish line in the House. These programs mean a lot to our farmers, especially when you consider the trying the times that we are in from low commodity prices to the high input costs that farmers face every day. There’s a lot that the farm bill brings to the table that is incredibly important. We are excited that the House of Representatives has it done and we look forward to the Senate passing it and getting it signed into law.”
