State Board Director Tim Wood owns and operates a 100-cow dairy alongside a small beef herd in Tioga, Pennsylvania. Wood also grows more than 900 acres of crops to support the dairy. Wood raises Registered Holstein cattle and often sells bulls and heifers, as well as crops to other farms. He worked as a partner with his father and brother for 12 years before starting his own farm in 2016.

Wood has been a member of Tioga/Potter Farm Bureau for more than 20 years. He has served as a Vice President and Director of Policy and is currently serving as President of Tioga/Potter Farm Bureau. He is also a member of National Farmers Organization and assists with marketing of milk. He has been a Director of the Tioga Bulk Milk Producers for 12 years.

The family Holstein business, Gor-Wood-D Holsteins had more than 300 ex-cows bred and has been recognized for its high Breed Age Average score.

Wood is married and has five children and 12 grandchildren. He considers his children and grandchildren his biggest accomplishment.

Off the farm, he also coached baseball for six years.
