Pennsylvania Farm Bureau President Chris Hoffman commented today on the Farm, Food and National Security Act of 2026.

“As we look to the farm bill markup, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau again extends its gratitude to Chairman G.T. Thompson and the House Agriculture Committee for their diligent work in drafting the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026. In an era of extreme market volatility and rising input costs, our farmers can no longer rely on outdated policies. We urge the Committee to work across the aisle to pass this modernized, bipartisan Farm Bill, providing Pennsylvania’s agricultural community with the certainty they need to continue feeding our nation.”
