The U.S. Department of Agriculture is seeking nominations for farmers and other individuals involved in urban agricultural production to serve on a new advisory committee on urban agriculture.
The committee will advise the secretary of agriculture on the development of policies and outreach relating to urban, indoor, and other emerging agricultural production practices. The panel will also help USDA to identify barriers for urban farming.
