How does Farm Bureau support Pennsylvanians?

Ramsburg FarmFor Farmers

Whether it’s local produce bound for the farmers’ markets, grain exported to faraway lands or an equestrian training center, Farm Bureau understands just how much government policies can impact how food is grown, shipped and sold. Together, we work to ensure farms of all sizes and types can provide consumers safe, affordable and abundant food supplies.

Lobbying & Advocacy
Policy development is the most important activity of the county Farm Bureau. It is an organized and on-going program of gathering ideas and opinions from the members. The county Policy Development Committee is responsible for editing, compiling, clarifying and submitting these ideas for discussion and action at the county annual meeting.

Savings on Supplies
Members receive special group pricing on many products and services. A majority of counties also offer additional local savings. From travel to office supplies, it pays to be a member.
