Pennsylvania Farm Bureau’s (“PFB”) Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to close its MSC Business Services (“MSCBS”) division.
For FMS and RFD Clients, this closure will take effect October 17, 2022. We will work with clients to handle any outstanding tax issues over the next month. FMS clients will be refunded seven months (October 2022 – April 2023) of any annual fee already paid. RFD clients will be refunded any retainer fees.
Additionally, for FMS and RFD Clients, to mitigate the impact of MSCBS’s closure, PFB has reached an agreement with Horizon Farm Credit, ACA (“Horizon”) regarding the transition of certain services and personnel from MSCBS to Horizon. We strongly encourage you to contact Horizon at agtax@horizonfc.com for more information about the services that may be available to you from Horizon moving forward.
For FACCTS clients, as part of fees that have already been paid, we will continue to offer FACCTS support through December 31, 2022. Additionally, FACCTS clients may choose to renew FACCTS Service from January 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023. FACCTS service will cease June 30, 2023.
For Payroll Services clients, as part of fees that have already been paid, we will continue to offer service through February 28, 2023. Payroll services will cease February 28, 2023.
