The Excellence in Agriculture Award is designed as an opportunity for Young Farmers & Ranchers between the ages of 18 and 35 who do not derive the majority of their income from an owned, rented or leased agricultural operation, while actively contributing and growing through their involvement in Farm Bureau and agriculture, to earn recognition.
Participants will be judged on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations (i.e., civic, service and community). Applicant(s) must be a Farm Bureau member or Farm Bureau member family.
Two finalists will be invited to attend dinner on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 during PFB’s Annual Meeting in Hershey, PA. The winner will be announced at Tuesday evening’s banquet. The overall winning applicant will receive an expense paid trip to compete during the 2018 AFBF Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA, January 11-16, 2019, in addition to various other prizes!
