Robert Craft, of Mercer County, is now retired and leases cropland for corn and soybean production. Off the farm, he worked in purchasing and management roles for several companies including Halliburton Northeast Operations, Ellwood National Crankshaft, Bush Industries and Superior Valve Company.
In addition to serving on the State Board, Robert serves as Mercer County Farm Bureau President and was previously vice president and policy development chair. He served on the Washington County Farm Bureau board in the early 1990s, serving as president and vice president.
He is a graduate of Avella Area High School and has a B.S. in business management from West Liberty University in West Virginia.
Robert is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church and is a member of the mission committee and pastor nominating committee for Trinity Presbyterian Church. He is agricultural liaison for the local Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He has a private pilot license.
He and his wife, Sandra, have two daughters—Jessica and Amanda—one son, Robert, and 8 grandchildren.
