Louis Sallie assumed the position of Administrative Secretary of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau PFB May 1, 1992. The Administrative Secretary is the chief administrator of the PFB, PFB Member Service Corp and the Pennsylvania Friends of Agriculture Foundation. Prior to that date, Sallie was a Northeast Regional Field Service Director for the American Farm Bureau Federation since 1984. He was responsible for working with state Farm Bureau's in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Sallie began his career with the New York Farm Bureau, first as a fieldman and then as Director of Organization. After ten years with New York, he joined the staff of the American Farm Bureau. He received his B.S. in Social Science from Bluefield State College, Bluefield, West Virginia. Sallie and his wife, Sue, live in Carlisle and they are the parents of three children.
